Itinerary
This 4 day trip ( Danang 4 days 3 nights itinerary) features the World cultural heritage sites of Hue Imperial City, Hoi An ancient town, My Son Sanctuary combining with relaxation at Ba Na Hills and visit to the beautiful attractions: the Marble Mountains, Linh Ung Pagoda, Han Market….
DAY 1 – Danang 4 days 3 nights itinerary: DA NANG ā HUE
- 8.00 am: Our car and tour guide will pick you up at your hotel in Da Nang/ Da Nang airport and transfer to Hue City (about 102 km to the North of Da Nang).
On the way from Da Nang to Hue, we will stop for you to visit some beautiful attraction such as:
Ā Ā Ā – Hai Van Pass – one of the most quintessential hillside roads in Vietnam. It has been called āa deserted ribbon of perfectionā by the UK program, Top Gear in a 2008.
Ā Ā Ā – Lang Co Bay – a picturesque outpost consisting of a long white-sand beach with blue seawater. It is located close proximity to 4 Vietnamās World Heritage Sites (Hoi An ancient town, My Son Sanctuary, Phong Nha Ke Bang National Park and the ancient citadel of Hue)
Ā Ā Ā – Lap An Lagoon – an 800 hectare brackish water lagoon in Hue. It is famous for the picturesque scenery with white clouds floating on Bach Ma mountain ranges in the blue sky background
- 11:30 am: Arrive in Hue. We continue to visit one of the most aesthetic royal tombs – Khai Dinh Tomb. This tomb the resting place of Khai Dinh (1885-1925) – the 12th emperor of the Nguyen Dynasty. You will be impressed by a majestic beauty that anyone easy overwhelmed of this tomb
- 12:30 pm: Enjoy a delicious lunch at a local restaurant serving the best Hue dishes and take a short rest.
Continue the trip to visit:
- Hue Citadel: It was built under the reign of King Gia Long in 1804 with nearly 140 small and large constructions. The Citadel has been recognized by the UNESCO as a World Heritage Site in the 1993.
- Thien Mu Pagoda: It is one of the holiest and oldest sites in this former imperial capital. The pagoda is famous for its historical architecture and its own allure at the beautiful natural setting.
(Please wear clothes that cover your knees when visiting this pagoda)
- 4.00 pm: Enjoy a dragon boat ride along the Perfume River to take in the peaceful scenery of city.
Then, the car will drop you off at the hotel in Hue. Have free time and overnight in Hue City.
DAY 2 – Danang 4 days 3 nights itinerary: HUE ā HOI AN
- 8:00 am: We will pick you up at your hotel in Hue after breakfast and transfer to Hoi An.
- After 3 hours on car, we will explore My Son Sanctuary – a cluster of ruined Hindu temples was built between the 4th and the 13th century by the kings of Champa to the worship of the god Shiva. My Son Sanctuary is situated in the heart of a beautiful valley and surrounded by a ring of high mountains. It is regarded one of the foremost Hindu temple complexes in Southeast Asia.
- Have lunch and take a short rest before transferring to Hoi An Old Town.
- Hoi An Old Town has been recognized by the UNESCO as a World Heritage Site in December 1999. Coming here, you can see a series of old-architectured lanes and houses reflects a fusion of indigenous and foreign cultures. The old building, deeply plain roofs, mossgrown walls, old furniture in their cristine past arrangment,… creat this unique survival.
- Discovering Hoi An Old Town, we will have a chance to visit Hoi An Market, Japanese covered bridge, Phuc Kien Chinese Assembly Hall, handicraft shops and artwork galleries.
- After visiting Hoi An Old town, the car will drop you off at the hotel. Have free time and overnight in Hoi An.
DAY 3 – Danang 4 days 3 nights itinerary: HOI AN ā DA NANG
- 8:00 am: We will pick you up at your hotel in Hoi An after breakfast and depart for Ba Na Hills.
- Ba Na Hills is belongs to the system of Sun World Entertainment Brand and over 20km away from the center of Da Nang City. Locating at the altitude of 1.487m over the sea water level, Ba Na Hills is named as the “fairy land” with excellent climate and exciting natural landscape. It is the top high-level complex of tourism, relaxation combined with entertainment in Vietnam.
- Come to Ba Na Hills to experience the climate of 4 seasons in one day with many attractions (Golden Bridge, Debay Wine Cellar, Le Jardin d’Amour Flower Garden, French Village,…), entertainment and cuisine activities.
- In the afternoon, we continue to explore Marble Mountains.
- The central city of Danang has a cluster of five hills made from limestone and marble whose names represent the 5 elements (metal, wood, water, fire and earth) known as the marble mountains. You can enjoy spectacular panoramic views of Da Nang city and Non Nuoc Beach from here.
- Beside that, you can visit Non Nuoc Stone Carving Village with nearly two hundred years of history on the foot of Marble Mountain.
- After visiting Marble Mountains, we will drop you off at the hotel in Da Nang City. Have free time and overnight in Da Nang.
DAY 4: DA NANG
- 8:00 am: Our car and tour guide will pick you up at the hotel in Da Nang after breakfast. Discover Han Market – the central market in Da Nang.
- It is the most important trading point of Da Nang City, located in the heart of Da Nang city, near the Han River Bridge. The market offers 28,000 square metres of hundreds of stalls selling an array of local produce, handicrafts, T-shirts, shoes and accessories in this market. Han Market will offer a fascinating glimpse into local life in Da Nang.
- 9:30 am: Visit Linh Ung Pagoda – a sacred pagoda in Da Nang. This important religious site is built in contemporary style combined with traditional architecture of Vietnamās pagodas. Some attractions in this place: Lady Buddha statue (67m high, equivalent to a 30-storey building), 18 stone Arhat statues, a set of sculptural relief describing about the life of Shakyamuni,…
- After visiting Linh Ung Pagoda, you will have lunch at a local restaurant.
- Then, we will drop you off at your hotel in Da Nang/Da Nang airport. Say goodbye and end of tour.
