My Son Private Tour: One of the most gorgeous sights of Hoi An is My Son Sanctuary. Between the 4th and 14th centuries, a culture which owed its religious origins to Indian Hinduism existed on the coast of contemporary Vietnam.

MY SON SANCTUARY PRIVATE TOUR – MY SON SUNRISE TOUR

8:00 am – 8:30 am: Our car and guide will meet you at your hotel in Hoi An center and start My Son Sanctuary Tour. Hoi An is 40 kilometers away from My Son Sanctuary. It will take more or less than an hour drive to get to the site.
9:30 am: Arrive at My Son Sanctuary and start to visit the “Valley of Kings”.

– My Son was a site of religious ceremonies for kings and at the same time, a burial place for Cham royalties and national heroes. The Hindu temples were constructed between 4th – 14th century by the Champa Kings. The temple ruins of the My Son Holy Land is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

– While you explore the area, our local English speaking guide will explain the history of this center of worship of Champa Kingdom.

– Depending on the day and time you will visit, you may also enjoy a traditional Apsara dance performed by the descendants of Cham people.

– To get more information about the Kingdom of Cham and the Champa people, you will visit the My Son Museum that is also located within the vicinity of the My Son Temples. Relics and statues at the museum will tell you more about the past kings of Champa, the life of their people and important their religion is. Making My Son worthy of being a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

12:00 pm: After discovering the wonders of My Son Sanctuary, you will take an optional choice to get back to Hoi An town by bus or boat.

If you back Hoi An by car, this tour will finish at 1:00 pm.

If you back Hoi An by by boat, this tour will finish at 2:00 pm. We will travel up the Thu Bon river by motorized boat to visit the Kim Bong carpentry village.

You can pay by cash after trip or pay online in advance by (Paypal/Credit, Debit Card). Some tours you must deposit some other dont need. And you will finish the balance of the booking for Tour Guide/ Driver when finish the trip. Upon receipt of the deposit, we will send you the confirmation of the reservation as well as the complete itinerary.

Cancellation policy

If the Customer cancels some or all portions of the booking regardless of the reasons, the Customer agrees to pay cancellation fees as follows:

- 2 days before departure day: No cancellation charge
- 1 day before departure day : 50% of the tour price
- Cancel after 12 hours, we will charge 100%

Hoi An My Son sunrise with Mr Tonny
Fantastic tour. Mr Tonny our guide was very helpful and had very good knowledge of the site. I learned so much about the history. Mr Tonny is also a good photographer and took photos of us both- great pics.
Our return journey we had a very good history lesson about Vietnam. Very interesting journey. We loved it and I highly recommend.

Went with husband and two kids- 11,7. Hired a private tour, it was about an hour and a bit from Hoi An. We got there about 9am, was quite a warm morning so took water and fans with us.
We all really enjoyed the walk and checking out the ancient religious sites of the Cham people. It took us nearly 2 hours to get around the sites.
Definitely worked out better getting their early as less crowded, quite a few buses were arriving as we left about midday.
Definitely recommend visiting My Son.

Great experience about Cham culture

A unique religious and historical site. Well worth the time and effort to visit. Our guide (Nam) was well spoken, knowledgeable and personable. The included dance performance was way better than I had expected.
I suggest taking the tour as early in the morning as possible; in our case that meant departing Hoi An 07: 00 am. As a result when we arrived everything was quiet and accessible. By the time we left, the place was packed with visitors.

Interesting and unique
We have been to Angkor Wat but thought My Son was also worth the visit. Luckily the weather was cooler and nice and there were no crowds, most everyone cleared out by lunch. Our Guide was excellent. Afterwards we went to the different relic areas and explored. The museum was good too. Not sure if this would be as good in brutally hot weather or with crowds but we loved it.
