Hoi An – Hue – Quang Tri – Phong Nha – Hoi An Private Tour (3 days 2 nights)

DAY 1: Hoi An – Hue

• 7:30 am: Our car and tour guide will pick you up at your hotel in Hoi An/ Da Nang airport. If you are in Da Nang City, we will pick you up between 8:00 am to 8:30 am.
• Transfer to Hue City (about 102 km to the North of Da nang, 130km from Hoi an). On the way, there will stop for you to visit some beautiful attraction such as:
• Hai Van Pass – the highest pass and one of the most scenic coastal roads in Vietnam.
• Lang Co Bay – one of the most beautiful bay of the worlds in Hue.
• Lap An Lagoon – an 800 hectare brackish water lagoon in Phu Loc.
• 11:30 am: Arrive in Hue. You will visit Khai Dinh Tomb – a famous King’s tomb in Hue city.
• Have lunch at a local restaurant serving the best Hue dishes and take a short rest
• 1:30 pm: Continue to visit The Citadel – a large fortress built in the 17th century mandated by Emperor Gia Long in Hue. This place was declared World Heritage by UNESCO (1993).
• 3:30 pm: After visiting the Citadel, you will have a chance to visit Thien Mu Pagoda – one of the most beautiful and famous pagoda in Hue.

(Please wear clothes that cover your knees when visiting this pagoda)

• 4:30 pm: Enjoy a dragon boat along the Perfume River ride back to the city center. Sit back and take in the peaceful scenery of the ancient city of Hue.
• We will drop you off at the hotel. Overnight in Hue.

DAY 2: Hue – Quang Tri – Phong Nha

In the morning:

• 8:00 am: Our car and tour guide will pick you up in hotel in Hue after breakfast. On the way from Hue to Phong Nha, after driving about 2.5 hours, the car will stop for you to visit La Vang Holy Land – an important place of pilgrimage of Catholics Vietnam. This shrine is located in Hai Lang district, Quang Tri Province. La Vang Hold Land has a complex of the most valuable sculptural works in the history of sculpture in Vietnam.
• Continue the trip to visit Khe Sanh Combat Base – once the scene of perhaps the longest and deadliest battle of the Vietnam War in early 1968.

Have lunch and take a short rest

In the afternoon:

• 1:00 pm: Visit Hien Luong Bridge and Ben Hai River – the place has witnessed the pain of partitioning the two regions: northern and southern Vietnam during the war.
• Go to Vinh Moc Tunnels – an underground village. It is an amazing complex of tunnels, where is constructed to avoid bombardments during the American War (1965-1966).
• After visiting Vinh Moc tunnels, we will drive and drop you off at the hotel in Phong Nha to stay overnight here. You have free time in Phong Nha.

DAY 3: Phong Nha – Hoi An

• 7:30 am: Our car and tour guide will pick you up at the hotel.
• After 25 minutes on boat along Son River, you will arrive Phong Nha cave – the most beautiful cave which holds several records. This cave is called water cave, it contains many splendid stalagmites and stalactites given beautiful names such as the “Lion”, the “Fairy Caves”, the “Royal Court”, and the “Buddha. It take a couple of hours to see the cave.
• Have lunch and return to Hoi An.
• Finally, we will drop you off at your hotel in Da Nang/Hoi An. End of tour.
