Incredible Historic Site A Must See
One of our highlights of the Hoi An area and Vietnam in general. We were not expecting it to be so great. The ruins are very impressive and cover hundreds of years of history on the one site. The building remains are in various states from foundations to complete structures. A must for travellers! There is a bit of walking around so comfortable shoes and sun protection as you are in the open sun for a couple of hours.

My Son is definitely worth a visit. Though the temples are largely in ruins, you still get a good idea how great the complex must have looked when they were intact. It’s quite the change to find such an old and serene place so close to Hoi An, whose charm is a result of much more recent history.
My guide was Tu, who spoke great English, was very knowledgeable about the place and Vietnamese history in general, and was able to point out all sorts of fascinating details.

Amazing Ruins
Nothing compared to Angkor Wat, but this place is amazing in its own right too! Here you will learn a lot about the Champa people, and the place where Hinduism first arrived in Southeast Asia.

Really worth a visit
If you are into ancient history then this is a must-see during any visit to Hoi An or Da Nang.
The site is a world heritage listed site. Sadly, many of the temples were damaged by bombing in 1969 during the Vietnam war but are being restored as there are photos of them in their former glory taken in the early 20th century by French archaeologists.
Thoroughly worth a visit.

Beautiful site
These ancient Hindu temples worth a visit. Smaller in scale and size in comparing to the others in South East Asia but they have their own attractions. Highly recommend to come early in the day with a small group for the best photos.

Well worthy of a UNESCO Heritage site. This was an ancient religious site of the Cham people. I would recommend you get a good guide who will explain the history of the Cham people, the religious significance and also the construction methods of each structure.
Also, start early as it can get quite hot and crowded.
