My first ever trip to HoiAn included a Sabirama Hoi An Cooking Class. What a fantastic cooking tour. It has everything, including: hotel pick up, market tour, river boat ride, basket boat ride, buffalo cart ride, foot massage. Not to mention the 5 scrumptious local dishes we got to cook.
The tour guide, Be, was a delight. Spoke really good English and was very knowledgeable.
I would certainly recommend this tour to friends and family heading to beautiful Hoi An. Itās the best Iāve ever been on!
Thank you very much š steve
Good times
It was very nice of Sabirama to still run the experience even though it happened that am the only person on the tour.
I used the basket boat to a very short cart pulled by an ox to arrive at the cooking school. I so much enjoyed the foot massage and then I was greeted by the chef, who seemed to be a little cold but was warmed up by the end.
In the cooking school, I learned how to cook almost all the dishes that are listed and I ate them, so do not eat before going. I was very excited that the basket boat ride was short because of the intensity of the sun and heat that morning. Also, the ox cart seemed a bit redundant being such a short distance to the school but still I enjoyed meeting him.
An interesting and enjoyable mix of activities
It would have been nice to focus more on the market portion of the tour since this is called a cooking tour with an introduction to different herbs, spices, and other recipes used for the different dishes and other things like the buffalo ride and basket boat. Also, different cooking, for example, appetizer soup main dessert rather than multiple pancakes would have been preferred.
