Located on Pho Duc Chinh Street, Hanh Restaurant serves excellent Hue specialties. This place was packed with a mix of locals and tourists. This restaurant is very huge and often busy so expect to have to wait a bit at popular times on day. The staff is very friendly and there is a menu in English. If you don’t know what to order in this restaurant, just get a combo order which offers 5-6 item combination. “Banh Beo Chen” is a must try. Banh Khoai or Nem Lui is awesome too. Lac Thien Restaurant, which is run by a family of deaf-mutes, is located at Dinh Tien Hoang Street (near Imperial City). The menu had a very wide selection (including all the Hue specialties and decent vegan options), and the food was incredibly tasty and authentic. It was a recommendation for the best Banh Khoai in Hue. Tourists often enjoy a large plate of pancakes while sipping some Hue Huda beer when they come here. Dong Ba Market is one of the oldest market in Hue, runs along the north bank of Perfume River. Not only is it the trading center, but it is also the soul of Hue.
