Paradise Cave is a part of Vietnam’s most protected natural wonder – Phong Nha Ke Bang National Park. - La Vang Holy Land – It is an important pilgrimage destination for Roman Catholics in Vietnam. The La Vang Holy Land is located in Hai Lang District, Quang Tri Province. Though area itself is beautiful as it is next to a rainforest, what makes the place special is that, it is believed that Mary, the mother of Jesus Christ, appeared next to the three banyan trees during the persecution of Catholics during that reign of Canh Thinh Emperor. Later on, a church was erected in honor of her, naming it as the Shrine of Our Lady of La Vang.
- Hien Luong Bridge (Ben Hai River) – The only true demarcation line between the North and South Vietnam according to set at the Geneva Conference of 1954. According to the Geneva Agreement, the northern part of Vietnam became the Democratic Republic of Vietnam led by Ho Chi Minh while the southern part of Vietnam became the Independent State of Vietnam led by the last Nguyen Emperor Bao Dai. This explains Hien Luong Bridge being painted with 2 colors representing 2 former territories but then got reunified after.
- Paradise Cave – Paradise Cave or locally known as Thien Duong is the longest Dry Cave in Asia according to the British Royal Cave Research Association and recognized as a World’s Natural Heritage Site by UNESCO. Earlier this year, Thien Duong Cave was hailed as the most unique and magnificent system of stalactites and stalagmites in Asia. The karst formation in Paradise Cave dates back to some 400 million years, which is considered as the oldest karst formation in Asia.
