During the course of your travel with us, you will a closer look on many historical sites, the traditional and the cultural of this ancient capital city. Moreover, you can not only admire typical designs of kites in Hue but can also learn how to make the traditional kites under the instruction of local artisans.

HUE SIGHTSEEING AND MAKING KITE PRIVATE TOUR

In the morning

• 8:30 am: Our guide and car will pick you up at your hotel in Hue city center. Transfer to the boat station and get on a dragon boat cruise on the Perfume River.
• 9:00 am: Visit Thien Mu Pagoda (pagoda of the Celestial Lady) – the unofficial symbol of Hue. It was built in 1601 under Nguyen Hoang King. This pagoda is located on the top of Ha Khe hill, just around 5km from the center city. Thien Mu Pagoda is one of the most famous and beautiful highlight that worthy to explore in Hue.
• 10:00 am: Get on a car and drive to the Minh Mang Tomb – the final resting place of Emperor Minh Mang who is one of the Nguyen Dynasty’s staunchest Confucians. Renowned for its architecture, this tomb offers a balance of landscaping and architecture.
• 12:30 pm: Have lunch at a restaurant and take a rest.

In the afternoon

• 02:00 pm: Arrive at the kite-making workshop and meet your instructor, a local artisan who will introduce you to simple the process of making and decorating a traditional kite.

When you finished the course, you can keep the kite as a unique hand-made souvenir in Hue.

• 03:00 pm: Fly a kite at a peaceful and airy place in the countryside to feel the beauty of Hue kites.
• 04:30 pm: We will drop you off at your hotel in Hue city center. End of tour.
