You’ll arrive to Phong Nha cave by taking a small wooden boat over the peaceful Son River. On the Son River, you’ll get a glimpse into the daily life of a neighborhood riverside village with a Vietnamese rural character. You’ll have to walk 300 meters within Phong Nha Cave after arriving by boat.

Explore Phong Nha Cave and take in the beautiful river and mountain. Phong Nha’s cave system features underground corridors and river caverns loaded with stalactites and stalagmites. It is well-known for its rock formations with interesting names such as the “Lion,” “Fairy Caves,” “Royal Court,” and “Buddha”. The stalactites and stalagmites that cut across the cave seem like a gigantic monster’s fangs. As one walks deeper into the cave, the stalactites and stalagmites become more dazzling when bright light is focused on them.

The Shallow Cave, located 800 meters from the cave’s entrance, is surrounded by a beautiful sand and rock environment. You will be drawn to stalactites and stalagmites emerge from the earth like strange trees.
