When you join Hoi An Countryside Tour, you will have chance to admire many sightseeing around the village by biking. You can chill out and watch the farmers working their daily tasks such as: raking, sowing, watering and picking the vegetables.

And especially, you join the cooking class and know how to cook some local dishes of Vietnam.

HOI AN COUNTRYSIDE TOUR

Tra Que village is located from Hoi An Ancient Town 3km. It has been famous for a long time with high-quality fresh vegetables such as lettuce, water spinach, cabbage… and many kinds of herbs like basil, coriander, fish lettuce…grown on fertile soil and fertilized by seaweed from De Vong River to create its own unique flavor.

Itinerary: (You can join in the morning at 8a.m or in the afternoon at 2p.m)

• Around 8:00 a.m or 14:00 p.m: Our local guide will pick you up at the lobby of your hotel and start the tour by biking around 3,5 km.
• You will bike to central market of Hoi An and stop to visit the morning market with many products from local people such as fresh vegetables, fruits, chickens, ducks, fishes…..The guide will show you some ingredients which will be prepared at your cooking class. And please don’t forget to catch some beautiful photos here.
• You continue to cycle to Tra Que vegetable village which is over 300 years old and there are hundreds of households growing vegetables with 40- hectare area, including more than 20 different types of vegetables.
• You will enjoy the special welcome drinks from the local people here and take a rest a moment. Then you walk around the big garden to see many kinds of vegetables: basils, mints, cilantros, coriander, scallion…, and see how the farmers work on their farm by using some traditional methods.  And if you like to be a farmer, you can join to grow vegetables together with them.
• You will come back home to enjoy soaking Foot with herbals, shoulder and head massage after biking around village and walking in the farm. You will feel more comfortable after massage.
• And then joining cooking class with the local chief. The chief will instruct you how to cook some special local foods such as: fresh spring roll, pancake and Grilled mackerel with banana leaves. Lately, you will enjoy what you have cooked and some other foods like Vietnamese meals.
• After lunch, you will bike back to your hotel in Hoi An.
• Tour ends
