Overview of Saigon Central Post Office
Saigon Central Post Office is a perfect wonder of French Renaissance Gothic and colonial design fusion. It was designed by the French architect Alfred Foulhoux. Color of the building is bright yellow with white trim that makes it very eye catching. A big clock is the main feature of the entrance and curved windows with green shutters enhance the beauty of the architecture.

The building has domed ceilings, metal arches, French interior and patterned tile floor. It is a very spacious hall. Office has two painted maps, telegraphic lines of southern Vietnam and Cambodia. These maps show the postal routes among the countries. Other one is a local map.
