FLOATING VILLAGE RACH VEM TOUR

The Floating Village Rach Vem – Phu Quoc, which is home to approximately 180 households, relies on fishing and tourism for a living. People here make a living by fishing, but when tourism in Phu Quoc grew, they built raft houses and opened tourist-related businesses in the self-sufficient way. Fishermen frequently allow tourists to board their boats, providing an unforgettable experience. Fresh seafood captured the night before will be used to offer tourists directly. When you come here, you will become familiar with the locals, who are exceedingly honest, open-hearted, and straightforward.

Itinerary:

• 8:00 am: We will get you up from your hotel or pick-up point and take you on the Floating Village Rach Vem Tour in Phu Quoc Island.
• 8:30 am: We will start the tour by exploring the raft house and then proceed to starfish beach.
• Rach Vem raft houses were built between 200 and 400 meters from the coast. These structures were constructed similarly to stilt houses. Many wooden posts were placed deep in the sand to build a strong foundation for the house. Boards coated the floors, leaves and corrugated iron covered the roofs, and trees and planks encircled the buildings. Standing on the raft house and staring out at the great ocean would be a wonderfully relaxing feeling.
• Starfish Beach is located in the south of the pearl island, between Hang Cape and Bai Khem Cape. With its pure white sand and soft, calm waves, it is regarded as one of Phu Quoc’s most attractive beaches. Starfish Beach is also well-known for its biodiversity, since it is home to a plethora of plant and fauna species, particularly vibrant orange starfish.
• 10:30 am: You can go fishing, swimming, or take pictures.
• 12:00 am: Have lunch on the beach.
• 3:00 pm: Finish Floating Village Rach Vem Tour. Return to the raft house and then to the original departure place. We hope you had a great time with us at Explore Vietnam!
