HUE FOOD TOUR BY WALKING
- We will meet you at your hotel in the city center and start the Food Tour. During the tour, we will stop at many famous street restaurants to enjoy the top list of Hue local foods.
- Start the tour with Banh Beo (Steamed Rice Cake) and Nem Lui (Grilled ground pork on stick).
- Enjoy Hue Cake: Banh it (Sticky rice cake), Banh loc (Clear dumpling), Banh Nam (Steamed Flat Rice Dumpling) – kinds of traditional cake in Hue.
- Go to Truong Tien Bridge and stop at Dong Ba Market to try Bun Thit Nuong (Grilled Pork Noodle) – is a popular cold Vietnamese rice noodle dish, topped with tasty grilled pork.

This is a must if you ever are in Hue! We had an amazing time on our evening food tour of Hue with our lovely guide.
Besides the yummy local food, my guide was incredible. She described every dish to me and how it is prepared. She is a very friendly and knowledgeable young lady and it was a real pleasure to be taken all around this neat city to all the interesting areas and to try all the delicious specialities. My 10 year old son enjoyed it immensely and it was a highlight of our trip to Vietnam. I wish I could have her as a guide for an entire day because I truly enjoyed walking around and eating my way through the city.
This will be an incredible memory for me to remember Hue by. I will recommend this tour for all of my friends. I wish ExploreVietnam and their guide have lots of success!
I arrived to a Hue in the middle of the day with an empty stomach, no plans/bookings other than my hotel and no way of getting an imperial city tour so late in the day. I was lucky enough to find this food tour through an online search and they happened to have a guide available on super short notice.
Ha who was my guide arrived early at my hotel. We visited I believe 5 or 6 locations and ate several dishes. Some locations had 2 dishes and others 1. Almost everything I tried was either new to me or a different version of a dish I had already tried up north and down in Da Nang. Everything was delicious! I was so full that had it not been for our walks between restaurants I don’t think I would have been able to finish the tour. Come hungry!!!
I went for the food walking tour and it was amazing! The Vietnamese food can be tricky to figure out and it was nice having a guide who knows what’s up! (5/5 – could do this again)

I found the food tour on Google! Every place that we visited was really great and our guide girl is really great too. She is very passionate about her job! We had very interesting chats, she knows the locals who own the different restaurant where we went ! One of my best evening in Hue! Don’t hesitate 😉
We had a fantastic time on this tour. We really appreciated the variety of foods, many of which are either particular to Hue or which we hadn’t yet had an opportunity to try. There was a good balance of restaurants and food stands, and we got to see the market as well.
I would recommend this to anyone wanting to experience Hue’s food. Even though we were only in the city for a day or so, this was well worth the time.
