Hoi An is 40 kilometers away from My Son Sanctuary. It will take more or less than an hour drive to get to the site.<\/li>\n<li><strong><em>9:30 am:<\/em><\/strong> Arrive at My Son Sanctuary and start \u00a0to visit the \u201cValley of Kings\u201d.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&#8211; My Son was a site of religious ceremonies for kings and at the same time, a burial place for Cham royalties and national heroes. The Hindu temples were constructed between 4th \u2013 14th century by the Champa Kings. The temple ruins of the My Son Holy Land is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; While you explore the area, our local English speaking guide will explain the history of this center of worship of Champa Kingdom.<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; Depending on the day and time you will visit, you may also enjoy a traditional Apsara dance performed by the descendants of Cham people.<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; To get more information about the Kingdom of Cham and the Champa people, you will visit the My Son Museum that is also located within the vicinity of the My Son Temples. Relics and statues at the museum will tell you more about the past kings of Champa, the life of their people and important their religion is. Making My Son worthy of being a UNESCO World Heritage Site.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong><em>12:00 pm:<\/em><\/strong> After discovering the wonders of My Son Sanctuary,\u00a0 you will take an optional choice to get back to Hoi An town by bus or boat.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>If you back Hoi An by car, this tour will finish at 1:00 pm.<\/p>\n<p>If you back Hoi An by by boat, this tour will finish at 2:00 pm.
